Giclée Print

In giclée printing, no screen or other mechanical devices are used and therefore there are no visible dot screen patterns. The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting. Your digital paintings will be printed at the highest professional standards available. Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching Paper 310gsm. This heavyweight etching board is silky smooth with a fine surface texture. It is one of the most popular media worldwide for artwork & photography.

Artists’ prints

Artists’ prints are considered original prints if they are either handmade by the artist or the artist is involved in the printing process. They are printed in editions of limited numbers and each print is originally signed and numbered. Giclee prints are considered artists prints if the creation process was totally digital.

Printers & Inks for Canvases

We use the Epson Stylus Pro 9900’s for printing our canvas prints. Because quality matters we print at 1400 dpi as standard, whereas most other companies only print at 720 dpi as this is quicker to print. Our canvases are printed with Epson’s ultra Chrome HDR ink set, making greens and foliage more vivid, sunsets more brilliant and skin tone more smooth.

Stretcher Bars for Canvases

Our canvases are stretched on stretcher bars. Hand stretched, finished with backing tape, canvas hanger and bumpers. Thickness is 45mm or 32mm.

Inks for Giclee Prints

Archival life expectancy is 40 years daylight and 200 years in dark. Our Fine Art Prints are printed by Ultrachrome K3 archival Inks.
